Atonix Digital and Black & Veatch are headed to Portland in a few weeks to participate in the EUCI IRP Summit. The conference team has assembled a strong program, designed by integrated resource planners for integrated resource planners, and diverse speaker lineup to tackle several pressing, current resource planning issues, and share best practices and case studies to ensure attendees walk away with actionable ideas.
Our team will moderate and participate in two panel sessions including:
- Lynn Allen, Managing Director of Management Consulting at Black & Veatch, leads the session, “Establishing Tool and Planning Input Assumptions for Future Resource and Technology Selection” at 2 PM on April 16. This discussion includes how to validate and vet planning and modeling assumptions to account for current technology performance and future capacity contributions; developing rules and tools for evaluating technical, commercial and developability of future resource options; interpreting the commercial tipping conditions that will enable the eventual adoption of emerging technologies, and more.
- Dave O’Connor, Atonix Digital Director of Distributed Energy Solutions, will join the panel, “Reconciling/Integrating T&D and Resource Planning with DERs” at 10:50 AM on April 17. This panel will highlight identifying the requirements, demand for multiple and more granular load forecasts, conservation potential assessments and divergent planning process interfaces.
As a sponsor, we'll be showcasing information about our approach, experience and investment planning software demos. We look forward to talking with you about how we can support your resource planning and IRP needs. Let us know if you are attending!
